DIRECT DONATION MAILING.
This year's committee is asking each family to contribute $125 upfront to cover the majority of the costs. As parents we know your time is valuable and imagine that you would rather not spend excessive time consumed with fundraising. By now each family should have received a Project Graduation letter, a self addressed stamped envelope, and a donation/volunteer form. Please mail in your donation by Thursday November 15 as we are counting on you to help us reach our goal of providing our children with a 12 hour drug, alcohol and tobacco free evening. Additional monies are always appreciated as we know the $125 may be a hardship for some. Any amount over the contribution is tax deductible.
As you can imagine, an event like this does not come free and we are estimating the costs to be about $23,000.
What is included you ask?
Entertainment: magician, body painting tattoo artist, photo booths, DJ light show, black light volleyball, hypnotist, outdoor movie, bonfire, bowling and laser tag, lawn games, challenge activities and more.
Food: snacks, drinks, late night dinner at a local restaurant with live entertainment, dessert and breakfast at the school
Gifts: a memorable gift for each students and a project graduation t-shirt
Transportation: busing to and from off campus events
Decorations: transforming the school into a night these kids will not forget!
This year we are requesting sponsorships from area businesses. If you are a business owner or are employed by someone you think would be interested in supporting our efforts to provide this program for our students, please let us know.
